Luis A. Bergolla joined SLTI in the fall of 2008. Since his arrival, he has devoted his time to the advancement of a medical interpreting test being developed at SLTI.
Luis has worked as a legal assistant for the legal department of one of the largest broadcasters in Venezuela, as the liaison between a health management organization and the Hispanic community in Atlanta, and as a court interpreter in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia.
Luis, a Venezuelan-American, earned his law degree from the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela (2005). Currently, he is pursuing a LLM at the School of Law at the University of Georgia. In addition to his native Spanish, Luis is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
