Lauren Williford
Lauren L. Williford began working at SLTI in the fall of 2008 as a test developer. Since joining the SLTI team, Lauren has written items for a proficiency test to be used as part of a pilot program by the U.S. government. She has also participated in the evaluation of responses for the Listening Summary Translation Exam for Yemeni. Prior to her work at SLTI, Lauren worked with children and adults on literacy skills, and taught ASE/GED classes through the Center for Adult and Family Literacy at the Community College of Baltimore County. Lauren holds a BA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an MA in Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh. She is proficient in American Sign Language. |
