Coral De Jesús recently joined SLTI as a Bilingual Translation Manager. She is a bilingual speaker of Spanish and English and a native of Puerto Rico. She has a Master’s Degree in Spanish Translation from Kent State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Puerto Rico.
Before working for SLTI, Ms. De Jesús worked as a freelance translator for direct clients and translation companies, and as an interpreter for migrant communities in Hartville, Ohio. She taught elementary Spanish courses at Kent State University and is currently teaching Spanish courses at George Washington University. Ms. De Jesús also worked on a translation project for the Student Financial Aid Office at Kent State University. This project involved the translation of two printed publications, a website, and the script for an instructional video produced by the office.
